ten pounds of cherries, picked. thick and buttery shortbread, baked and served with fresh whipped cream and lemon-verbena infused sugar syrup over fresh berries. first ham hock, bought. homemade split pea soup, stewed. sweet potatoes and apples, roasted for my favorite weekly curry soup. vegi burgers with seasonal vegs, sunflower seeds and wheat bran, prepared from scratch and individually wrapped for freezing. basil pesto, blended up with loads of garlic and some hippy dust...
